Possible Disabilities as a Result of Premature Birth

Involving the birth records of a 40 year old female. Sheppard was to look for possible residual physical disabilities stemming from a premature birth and low birth weight. She was able to decipher and interpret medical records to find that all of the physical difficulties surrounding this birth were within the normal scope of a premature birth and were resolved in a timely manner. Sheppard was able to inform client/attorney about the connection between premature birth/low birth weight and cognitive disabilities and behavior difficulties later in life.
