60 Year Old Man Dies After Hospital Stays

Involving the death of a 60 year old male that had multiple chronic medical issues and disabilities. He had recent admits to two area hospitals and had been receiving home health services. The patient died two weeks after final discharge. Sheppard was able to interpret medical records, scrutinize care provided, research cause of death and inform the attorney concerning additional medical records needed for this case. According to the medical information there was not any evidence that the cause of death was indicated during the hospital admit. Sheppard rendered an opinion of a non-meritorious case to the client/attorney, saving him time and money.
